Amina had a tiny lamp on her study table.
It was not big, but it made a warm, soft light.
One night, the electricity went off.
Amina’s little brother, Sami, felt scared.
“Ammi… it’s dark,” he whispered.
Amina quickly turned on her little lamp.
The light was small… but it made the room feel safe.
Sami smiled. “Now I’m okay.”
The next day at school, Amina saw something sad.
A boy named Rayan dropped his pencil box.
Pencils rolled everywhere.
Some kids laughed.
Some kids walked away.
Amina remembered her little lamp.
She thought, My lamp is small… but it helps.
She ran to Rayan and said, “Don’t worry! I’ll help you.”
Amina picked up the pencils.
Another girl joined.
Then one more child joined too.
Soon, all the pencils were back in the box.
Rayan smiled and said, “Thank you. I felt so embarrassed.”
Amina said, “It’s okay. Everyone needs help sometimes.”
That night, Amina looked at her little lamp and smiled.
She told her mother, “My lamp taught me something.”
Her mother asked, “What is it?”
Amina said, “Even a small light can remove darkness.”
Moral:
